You're right. He does get it, and get it right.
Small towns enjoy the solidarity which causes an event like this to hit home. For the big cities, the cost does not seem so real.
Sadly you're right. More folks get killed in drive-bys, robberies etc in the big cities each month than those in combat. Unfortunately, the fallen warriors from the cities are barely noticed.
Lonsberry is always a favorite of mine. I sure miss his radio show out here.
